Money, Sex and Power: Making Them Conscious
Money, sex and power. Easy to say, difficult to live with consciously. Whether we like it or not, these energies are with us and affect us every single day. Even if we choose to minimize their presence in our lives, they continue to operate as active forces in the world all around us. How can we integrate them so that they’re showing up healthfully for us and our relationships making sure we don’t repress the parts we don’t feel comfortable with? Find out at this invigorating talk.
Extreme Spiritual Sports: Awakening in this Lifetime
Awakening, enlightenment, satori, Christ consciousness, Buddha realization – all easy to say, but how about to experience? In this talk, Doug and Catherine Sensei describe the precious opportunity we have in this lifetime to come to our human birthright – awakening. They articulate the path and work that is required to get you there, and why its so worthwhile.
Meet the Teachers
Catherine Pawasarat
Doug Duncan
Doug Duncan and Catherine Pawasarat are Dharma and meditation teachers who founded Clear Sky Meditation Centre, BC, Canada.
Achariya Doug Duncan received lay ordination from Namgyal Rinpoche in 1978, and is a lineage holder in that teaching. Known for his direct, humourous and compassionate engagement with students, Doug embraces various traditions, contemporary psychology, and science, to mentor all beings to a more awakened state.
Catherine Pawasarat has trained daily with Acariya Doug Duncan since 1998 in an intensive spiritual apprenticeship that is rare in the modern West. She received lay ordination from Namgyal Rinpoche in 2003. In addition to Buddhist philosophy and its applications to daily life, Catherine also draws on generative living and the arts. With Doug she is co-founder of Clear Sky Retreat Center in the BC Rockies.
Course Details
The evening classes will be held at the Ahiah Center for Spiritual Living in Pasadena. There is no fee for the evening classes.

7pm to 9:30pm, Thursday February 13th, 2020.
