Wisdom Podcast features an interview with Qapel and Sensei about their training with and the tradition of the late Namgyal Rinpoche, a pioneer weaving together Eastern and Western traditions. In the episode, Journeying across traditions, they share stories about lineage teachers include Namgyal Rinpoche, Sayadaw U Thila Wunta, His Holiness the Sixteenth Karmapa, and Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche. They also discuss other approaches to dharma teaching and practice – including group guru, conscious community and the integration of the shadow.

They discussed how spiritual awakening is the only sustainable mindset in a universe that appears chaotic and for a planet that is in crisis.  While giving practical tips gained from their experience in setting up Clear Sky Meditation Centre, they offered insights from the path of karma yoga and the wisdom that comes from integrating spiritual life with the realities of modern-day living.

Drishti Point Yoga Podcast: Dharma if you dare – living life with abandon

Drishti Point Yoga Podcast was a 10-year podcast project that started in 2005 and was completed in 2015. In this interview, Doug and Catherine Sensei highlighted the conditioned tribal patterns that limit us and how to break free from them. They explained how to grow into more than we know ourselves to be, making spiritual teachings on ‘awakening’ accessible and relevant.

When Catherine Sensei was at the Future of American Buddhism Conference in June 2022, she met Aaron Stryker of Dharma Gates, a nonprofit organization dedicated to opening pathways into deep meditation practice for young adults.

They filmed a conversation about Dharma as a path and practice. They chat about Sensei’s personal story in Dharma, the Three Month Intensive Program at Clear Sky Center and the Namgyal lineage’s unique mandate to bring the teachings to new places.
