In this talk Doug and Catherine discuss the Buddhist Common Foundations, also known as ‘the four thoughts that turn the mind towards practice”. These are reflections that help us stay in contact with the urgency of continuing with our spiritual practice. In the course of this talk Doug and Catherine also explain what samsara is and explore the nature of the ego and how to put it in its proper place.
