What is Crazy Wisdom?
Crazy Wisdom is Innocent and Energetic
Crazy Wisdom is also known as energetic wisdom or innocent wisdom.
Having an ego can be traumatising so we require an energetic technology to break through the isolation of the ego. This wisdom/teaching can quickly guide us to break through into an altered field of bliss, clarity and non-clinging awareness.
Revolution Feels Scary
The ego tends to settle for the status quo, for comfort and security. So, if we want revolution in our lives, it is going to feel a bit “crazy”. To the ego, crazy wisdom might seem scary at times.
The purpose of a spiritual path is to break through our own ego clinging, and this requires a certain amount of shake up. It’s a way of speaking to that part of ourselves the ego cannot reach.
Crazy Wisdom as a Methodology for Uncovering The Shadow
Not every tradition embraces crazy wisdom or divine madness as it is sometimes called. But, because our shadow draws down on our vitality, we require a methodology that shows up when we get into hot water.
Crazy wisdom helps us integrate our shadow. We don’t need to search for our positives, we want to look for our blocks and see what is covering the ever present, often hidden, state of spaciousness.
The shadow is the unconscious relationship we have to our resources like money, sex and power. With crazy wisdom we speed up the integration process of the unconscious parts of our psyche.
